I woke up feeling sad today. I dunno for what reason. Maybe because I still don’t have an assignment in my first class today and I don’t actually think I can answer it right now. Hahaha. But sometimes – if not most of the time – it’s because the thought of him bothers me. Or maybe the thought of losing him… Yes, I’ve already lost him actually. But these past weeks, we’ve been hanging out because of school stuff or friendly get-togethers and I feel like I’m gonna miss him badly when all of these are over. *Sigh* Why the hell can’t I just move on? $?@#!

But there. I think I just spilled it out so that feeling won’t bother me anymore. Hopefully, I’ll feel better now and won’t think about it too much. After all, that’s life. And it’s not yet actually happening so why should I worry? Besides, I’ve got toooooooooooons to do still and my life is getting crappy again so I better stop wasting time blogging about nonsense things and start doing my pending work.

Hey there!

Wala lang. It feels like it was such a long time since I last posted here. Can I just say, I am sooooo busy right now. Partly because I wanted to, but also partly for being intuitive and just saying yes to everything. Grrr! I hate my life right now. Or not. I’m actually enjoying it I think. But I don’t want that thought to sink in to me right now. Because I don’t wanna go back to my normal mode because by then, I won’t be as happy as I am right now. *Sigh* So the thought of being unhappy and haggard is most welcome right now. I also don’t want to enumerate anymore what the things that make e happy o the things that make me sad are. I have that tendency to lose what I currently feel whenever I spill it out. So there. I just wanted to say hi, dear blog. And I hope to come back here soon.

This is close-encounter animal bonding at its best!

I went to Ark Avilon Zoo last Saturday because my product manager sponsored the Sky Fun Club event held there. The zoo is located at the Fronterra complex near the Fun Ranch and Tiendesitas. Who would have thought that there would be a zoo in the inside this shopping area?

As I entered the zoo, I went directly upstairs because that’s where the event was gonna happen. And voila! As I reached the top step, a freely roaming chicken passed by me as if greeting hello. And he was not alone. There were also other non-flying birds roaming the area. And I also caught a glimpse of the enclosed space for bunnies and hamsters. They were being fed by the little kids with carrots stuck at the end of long sticks. The bunnies clamored over the carrots. The scene was very funny. It was as if the bunnies have not eaten anything in years! Mala-MRT ang level ng tulakan dito! I then went to the other side and found the little gathering area. Near it was a play area with hammocks, swings, slides and other play stuff. Since the program was not yet starting, I took some quiet time at the hammock. :p I got bored a little later on and went exploring the whole zoo as well. I saw different kinds of birds and fishes and at the lower floor were sun pandas, tigers, tapir, geese, parrots and lots more! I came near a parrot at a tree branch and I was shocked because it screeched on me. I later found out that he did that to everyone who came near him. XD A major attraction and source of commotion as well was Jenny, a monkey (I dunno what type) who will hug you and take a picture with you. She’s really lovely. She wore a summer dress and pants and a pair of pink crocs. She’d hug you tight and wouldn’t mind all the flashes so as to take a picture with you. Too bad, I didn’t took a picture with her. At the first place, I didn’t bring my own camera. I only had my poor cellphone on hand.  More than caring for the environment and the other creatures around us, I have learned some fun facts as well which were scattered all over the zoo. I learned that:

1. Hummingbirds are the only birds which can fly backwards.
2. An owl’s eye is tubular that’s why it won’t move.
3. The swan is the only bird that has a penis.
4. And many more!

Overall, the whole Avilon experience was fun! I actually don’t know how much the fee was ‘cause I got in for free but I think it’s around P200. And it’s really worth it. It’s a great experience and you’ll get to learn a lot as well.

Yesterday, I went out with my friends to watch Dragonball Evolution at Trinoma and I also tagged my little brother along.

*spoilers ahead*

I was skeptical with the movie at first because it seemed too far from the real story of the anime version as far as I can remember. The story started when Goku, the main character was already 18 unlike the anime version which started when he was still around 5-7 years old I think. And it had that “Why-am-I-different and I-am-a-loner” theme at the beginning. But as the story progressed, I felt that yes, it was a very modernized and more realistic adaptation of the anime. I am actually quite impressed for it being at some degree still faithful to the original even though the anime was like hundreds of episodes and this one was like just a one and a half hour movie.

It was however, hanging at some point. It lacked a better and much more impactful ending. It was too short. I feel that it also lacked a more deeper understanding or development of the lead character. The lead didn’t have the always-happy disposition of the original Goku.

I think the movie will have a sequel. And I think it has lots to improve on. I say kudos to this movie and I’m expecting a better one in the near future!
