Who doesn’t watch cartoons? Or anime? Well, I do. And I believe most kids and teens do too. Watching those fictional characters and following them as they journey through their eventful and exciting life surely is thrilling for me. Even though they are not real – and most of the time really do look unreal – I can still relate with them in some way and it makes me feel like I’m no longer just watching TV but walking with them, side-by-side as they go through their animated life.
But what happens if you really do get sucked inside the TV and be a character in the anime or cartoon you are watching? Isn’t that so exciting!?!?! You can be anything you want or sport any hair color you ever dreamed of! Amazing isn’t it. Well, sorry to burst your bubble but I don’t think that will really happen, but right now, you can take the first step to fulfilling your dream of being one with your animated idols.
Presenting COSPLAY FEVER! Yes, cosplaying is getting popular nowadays here in the Philippines. Cosplay is short for Costume Play when you get to wear costumes of your favorite anime character and most importantly, act as they would do so. Here is a sample I recently saw (with my own two eyes) taken just at the space at the back of a building here in school.
Aww, they’re so cute, aren’t they? By the way, they are cosplaying Neon Genesis Evangelion. Hai, how i would love to cosplay one of these days. Haha! Wait for it! I’m gonna cosplay too!!! *evil laugh*
